Is Trump’s Statement On North Korea A War Of Words?

North Korea get’s threatening again. Let’s face it there are no winners in a nuclear war so what’s the point in threatening to bomb each other with the worlds most powerful weapons?

The North Korea dictator is a young lad who is still suffering ‘schoolboy male ego’ and likes to throw all sorts of threats at the US and allies which in turn brings out the madness in the current US leader (who has his fair share of madness).

North Korea has thrown threats about for years now and has almost fallen on deaf ears with past presidents including Obama but is Trump really the one to act out on these threats? Is he really that crazy to go to war with this country and upset various others in the process? China has already stated to Kim Jong Un that they will be on their own in a confrontation with the US. That’s reassuring to hear but what about countries in the Middle East like Iran and Pakistan who also have the ability to strike the US and its allies at any time?

I think we need to be very careful about the current escalating situation with Trump and North Korea as the threats seem to be getting more confrontational and serious. We would like to think that it’s just the usual threats that are a ‘war on words’ rather than possible action. To be clear it’s not the first time these words have been exchanged but there will come a time where it will take one little threat to go too far and the button will be pushed and we will all be in danger. The question is: who is crazier?

Kim Jong Un has the capacity to strike anywhere in the region where US bases are, including South Korea and Japan. He is mad enough to do this at any time as he couldn’t care less about his people, where the majority are treated like slaves and live in a hell hole at the best of times. The scary truth regarding this scenario is the overall outcome of a major war which could end up being nuclear. This will have drastic and dangerous implications for the region as well as the US and its allies.

Cyber attacks on North Korea would be a better and more peaceful option to disrupt any possible missile launches but they could retaliate with an attack on the US electrical grid in various ways that would have a major impact on the daily lives of millions of Americans. An attack on the electrical grid could cause weeks of disruption with many states being without electricity and so many people are not even prepared for this disaster. Millions could die in a scenario like this so it may be time to stock up on survival tools, non-perishable food and various other supplies just in case something like this can happen in the near future. Clashes and protests could also break out if the US attacks North Korea as the American people are fed up with war and just want to see a peaceful solution.

We just hope this is all a war on words and not a major threat from both leaders. South Korea could see major deaths from the first few hours of bombing from North Korea and it would be catastrophic as they have a massive amount of weapons. If it goes nuclear then the implications would be massive with millions of deaths and also the destruction of the worlds 11th biggest economy to date.

It’s only a matter of time before one of these leaders presses a button or plays on their threats.
